My name is Matt Hoffman.

I am a 3rd year University student studying a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Computer) / Bachelor of Computer Science (Cybersecurity) at the University of Queensland, Australia. I expect to graduate in 2025.

In addition to tinkering with computers, my interests/hobbies include:

  • Hitting the beach (Byron Bay and the Sunshine Coast are my favourites)
  • Hitting the gym with the boys
  • Road trips with friends
  • Swimming for fitness
  • Finance (investing, stocks, cryptocurrency, etc.)
  • Video Games (I play mostly PC, but have an affinity for the Nintendo DS)
  • Marine life and ecosystems
  • 1980s-2000s era Japanese Sports Cars (particularly the Mazda RX7's)
  • Computer Solitaire (I am a grandmaster at this)

This site is mainly for my own personal purposes and records. I don't really expect much traffic here but if you've stumbled upon it, I hope you enjoy!

I am a big fan of the traditional internet philosophy: individuals 'owning' their own internet real estate via hosting a website vs. centralised personal information hosting on social media sites. Although it doesn't have much content (or arguably have a purpose), this website's existance is a homage to those ideals.
